Installation Procedure

  1. Align the tilt lever in the steering column.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the tilt lever bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

  3. Install the tilt spring. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Spring Replacement .
