Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the KS (1) and the retaining bolt to the engine block, positioning the electrical terminals rearward.
Tighten: Tighten the knock sensor (KS) bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the KS (1).
Install the left wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front in Body Front End.
Lower the vehicle.
