Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge pipe (1) from the throttle control module (2). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  5. Disconnect the throttle control module electrical connector (2).

  7. Remove the throttle control module bolts (1).
  8. Remove the throttle control module (2) and the seal from the intake manifold.
  9. Clean the gasket surface.
