Input Shaft Disassemble: Procedure

Inspect the input shaft bearing for being faulty. Refer to Bearings and Spacers Cleaning and Inspection .
If the bearing is faulty, remove the input shaft bearing retaining ring.

Using a hydraulic press and J 22912-B , remove the input shaft bearing. Discard the bearing. Do not use the bearing after removal.
