Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the intake manifold sight shield. Refer to UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
  2. Loosen the clamp and separate the air cleaner resonator outlet duct from the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor assembly.
  3. Loosen the clamp and separate the air cleaner resonator outlet duct from the throttle body assembly.
  4. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the outlet duct.
  5. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct.
