Component Testing

Front Wiper Switch

Operate switch and check continuity between switch terminals as follows. See Fig 1 .

* With switch in "OFF" position, continuity should be present

between terminals "LOW" and "P".

* With switch in "INT" position, continuity should be present

between terminals "LOW", "P", "INT" and "Ew".

* With switch in "Low" position, continuity should be present

between terminals "LOW" and "Ew.

* With switch in "Hi" position, continuity should be present

between terminals "HI" and "Ew".

* With switch in "Washer" position, continuity should be present

between terminals "Ew" and "W".

Rear Wiper Switch

Operate switch and check continuity between switch terminals as follows. See Fig 2 .

* With switch in "ON" position, continuity should be present

between terminals No. 1 and 2.

* With switch in "OFF" position, continuity should be present

between terminals No. 2 and 3.
