Idle Switch (3.0L)
- Idle switch contacts are part of TPS switch. Disconnect TPS sensor connector. Check for continuity between terminal No. 1 (Yellow/Red wire) and ground. See Fig 1 .
- With accelerator pedal released, continuity should exist. With accelerator depressed, no continuity should exist. If continuity is not correct, replace idle switch.
