Hazard Warning Switch: Sonata
- Check for blown fuse No. 2 and/or flasher. Flasher is located in relay box, behind left dash. Remove hazard switch from right side of instrument cluster trim panel by prying switch outward. Unplug harness connector.
- With switch in OFF position, use ohmmeter to ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 3 and 9, and terminals No. 1 and 5. SeeFigure . With switch in ON position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 2, 6, 7, 8, and between terminals No. 4 and 9. Terminals No. 1 and 5 are for bulb illumination. Terminal No. 4 is fused input power supply to switch.
