Checking Fluid Level

Ensure vehicle is parked on level surface, and engine is at normal operating temperature. Shift transaxle through all ranges, ending in Neutral. With engine idling (transaxle in Neutral), fluid level should be full, between upper and middle marks of dipstick (HOT range). See Fig 1 . Insert dipstick fully into tube to prevent dirt from entering transaxle.
