Cruise Control Switch

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable and wait at least 30 seconds before proceeding. Remove lower steering wheel shroud. Locate 4-pin multifunction switch connector M01-3. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Measure resistance between connector M01-3 terminals No. 1 (Blue/Black wire) and No. 4 (Black wire). When SET/COAST switch is pressed, resistance should be about 220 ohms. Replace switch if resistance is not as specified.
  3. Measure resistance between connector M01-3 terminals No. 1 (Blue/Black wire) and No. 4 (Black wire). When RESUME/ACCEL switch is pressed, resistance should be about 910 ohms. Replace switch if resistance is not as specified.
  4. Measure resistance between connector M01-3 terminals No. 1 (Blue/Black wire) and No. 3 (Red/Orange wire). When RESUME/ACCEL switch is pressed, resistance should be about 3900 ohms. Replace switch if resistance is not as specified.
