Monitor Scan Tool Data

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Connect Scan tool and Engine "ON"
  3. Monitor parameters related to "Random Misfire Detected" on CURRENT DATA

    Specification :

    Engine RPM at idle : 700 +/- 100 RPM

    Ignition Timing : BTDC 10° +/- 5°

  4. Are the parameters related to Fuel System Too Lean displayed within specifications?

    Yes 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor 1 s and/or PCM's connector or was repaired and PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
