Front Strut Assembly: Disassembly

Remove the dust cover with a flat-tip screw driver.

Using the special tool (09546-26000), compress the coil spring until there is only a little tension on the strut.
NOTE: Do not use an impact gun.

Remove the front strut self-locking nut.

Remove the washer, strut insulator assembly, upper spring seat, upper spring pad, bumper rubber, dust cover, coil spring and lower springpad.
