Charging System: Alternator: Removal
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal first, then the positive terminal.
- Disconnect the alternator connector, and remove the cable from alternator "B" terminal.
- Remove the drive belt.
- Pull out the through bolt and then remove the alternator(A).

- Installation is the reverse of removal. For drive belt routing, refer to appropriate Drive Belt figure under TIMING CHAIN
for 2.4L, or refer to appropriate Drive Belt figure under INSTALLATION
for 3.3L.
