Signal Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" and "TCM(PCM)" connector.
Measure resistance between each terminals of the sensor harness to check for Short.
Specification: Infinite

Is resistance within specifications?
YES : --> Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

NO : --> Check for Open in harness. Repair as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
