Power Steering Oil Pump: Disassembly

  1. Remove the bolts from the oil pump body, and then remove the suction pipe (A) and O-ring.

  2. Remove the power steering oil pump rear cover (A) and the O-ring (B) by removing the four bolts.

  3. Remove the snap ring (A).

  4. Remove the cam ring.

  5. Remove the rotor (B) and vanes (A).

  6. Remove the oil pump side plate (A).

  7. Remove the inner O-ring (A) and outer O-ring (B).

  8. Remove the drive pulley (A).

  9. Remove the oil seal (A) from the oil pump body.

  10. Remove the connector (A) from the oil pump body, and take out the flow control valve (B) and the flow control spring (C).

  11. Remove the O-ring from the connector.
    CAUTION: Do not disassemble the flow control valve.
