Component Inspection

  1. Check Transponder
    1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
    2. Perform neutral mode, key teaching and password teaching/changing.
      NOTE: Be sure that PIN code is prepared.
    3. Is the neutral, teaching and password teaching/changing mode completed?

      YES 

      Go to " 2Check BCM" as below

      NO 

      Substitute with another Transponder which were already registered, and Monitor "Current Data".

      If key status shows Number of current transponder key, Replace the "Not Check" Transponder and then Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      NOTE: Be sure that the Virgin Transponder is needed to register with PIN code.
  2. Check BCM
    1. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF"
    2. Perform neutral mode, key teaching and password teaching/changing.
      NOTE: Be sure that PIN code is prepared.
    3. Is Key teaching completed?

      YES 

      Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the BCM and/or the antenna coil connector or was repaired and BCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

      Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      NO 

      Replace BCM and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      NOTE: Be sure that BCM registered another car can't use.
