Component Inspection

Engine "OFF" IG KEY "OFF".
Remove the TCU.

Measure the resistance for "TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR".

Specification : Refer to a table

TEMPERATURE SPECIFICATIONS

10 (50)	5.62 ~ 7.31
25 (77)	3.5
110 (230)	0.22 ~ 0.27

Is resistance within specifications?
YES:
- Substitute with a known-good PCM/TCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM/TCM as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO:
- Replace "TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR" as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NOTE: When replacing the TCU, must perform the N position learning and the Initial learning, (refer to 'HOW TO PERFORM N POSITION LEARNING ' and 'HOW TO PERFORM INITIAL LEARNING ')
