Control Circuit Inspection

Key "OFF".
Disconnect fuel pump relay.
Key "ON".
Measure the voltage between terminal 5 of fuel pump relay harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 3.5V

Is the measured voltage within specifications?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair Open in control circuit, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
