Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad.(Refer to CRASH PAD )
  3. Disconnect the connectors from the intake actuator, the blower motor and power mosfet.
  4. Remove the cowl cross bar assembly.(Refer to CRASH PAD )
  5. Remove the heater and blower unit.

  6. Remove the blower unit (A) from the heater unit after loosening a mounting bolt and 3 screws.

    NOTE: Make sure that there is no air leaking out of the blower and duct joints.
  7. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
