Repair procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver airbag module.

    (Refer to DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING .

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    Refer to the STEERING COLUMN AND SHAFT

  4. Remove 2 screws on the steering wheel.

  5. Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening 4 screws.

  6. Remove the remote control switch after loosening 1 screw and disconnecting the connector. [RH]
