Repair Procedures: Installation

Place the thermostat in thermostat housing.
1. Install the thermostat with the jiggle valve upward.
2. Install a new thermostat (B).

Install the water inlet fitting (A).
Tightening torque: 9.8 ~ 11.8N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7lb-ft)
Install the radiator upper hose. (Refer to Cooling System - "RADIATOR HOSE ")
Fill with engine coolant.
Start engine and check for leaks.
