CAN Communication Line Inspection

Short to line Inspection
1. IG key "OFF".
2. Disconnect ISP ECU and Cluster ECU connector.
3. Measure resistance between terminal of IAP ECU-CAN HIGH and terminal of Cluster ECU-HIGH signal harness connector
4. Measure resistance between terminal of IAP ECU-CAN LOW and terminal of Cluster ECU-LOW signal harness connector
  Specification: Below approx. 1Ω

5. Is the measured resistance normally?
  YES
  - Go to the "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
  NO
  - Check short to CAN line between IAP ECU and Cluster ECU.
  - Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
