Repair Procedures: Replacement

Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
Tightening torque:

4.0 ~ 6.0 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 ~ 4.4 lb-ft)

Disconnect the starter cable (A) from the B terminal on the solenoid, and the connector (B) from the S terminal.
Loosen the starter mounting bolts and then remove the starter.
Tightening torque:

49.0 ~ 63.7 N.m (5.0 ~ 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 ~ 47.0 lb-ft)

Installation is reverse order of removal.
