Monitor GDS Data

- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC)
- IG key "ON", Engine "ON".
- Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Monitor diagnostic trouble code and present of trouble code.
Using a GDS, Check if the same DTC resets after clearing DTC.
- Are any DTCs present?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good "Coupling" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "Coupling" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION" procedure below.
