FPS Power Circuit Inspection

IG "OFF".
Disconnect FPS connector.
Engine start.
Measure the voltage between power terminal of FPS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V
Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
