Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Insert the stop lamp switch into the hole of the brake pedal member assembly.
  2. Tighten the stop lamp switch lock nut (B) while pushing the brake pedal and connect the stop lamp switch connector (A).

  3. Adjust the stop lamp switch clearance (A) and brake pedal free play.

    Stop lamp clearance:  1 ~ 2 mm (0.04 ~ 0.08 in)

    Pedal free play:  3.0 ~ 8.0 mm (0.12 ~ 0.31)

    NOTE: Adjust the brake pedal free play using the stop lamp switch adjustment nut (B).
  4. Install the lower crash pad.
