DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Signal check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. Knock sensor #3
Enable Conditions
  • ECT is higher than 40°C (104°F)
  • Engine speed is higher than 2400 RPM
  • Engine load is higher than 35%
Threshold Value
  • When number of knock sensor errors is lower than lower limit or higher than upper limit
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
