Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  2. Conduct the "Steering Angle Sensor Reset (Only Column & Housing Assy replacement)" by Diagnostic tool.

    (Refer to MDPS Column and Housing - "DIAGNOSIS WITH DIAGNOSTIC TOOL ")

  3. Conduct the "Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) Calibration" by Diagnostic tool.

    (Refer to MDPS Column and Housing - "DIAGNOSIS WITH DIAGNOSTIC TOOL ")

  4. Conduct the "Set the steering feel torque to zero" by Diagnostic tool.

    (Refer to MDPS Column and Housing - "DIAGNOSIS WITH DIAGNOSTIC TOOL ")

  5. Conduct the "EPS Type Recognition" by Diagnostic tool.

    (Refer to MDPS Column and Housing - "DIAGNOSIS WITH DIAGNOSTIC TOOL ")
