Component Inspection: Notes

■ Check EGR Actuator coil resistance 

1. IG "OFF"
2. Disconnected battery (-) cable.
3. Disconnected the "EGR Actuator".
4. Measure resistance between motor (+) terminal and motor (-) terminal of EGR Actuator. (EGR Actuator component side)

   Specification:  Approx. 2.37 ~ 2.7Ω

5. Is the measured value within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "EGR Actuator Inspection " procedure.

   NO 

   • Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
