Repair Procedures: Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING )
- Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to MDPS ASSEMBLY )
- Remove 2 screws on the steering wheel.
- Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening 4 screws.
- Remove the remote control switch after loosening 1 screw and disconnecting the connector.
