Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the following parts;
    1. Engine cover

      (Refer to: Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE COVER ").

    2. Air cleaner assembly and air duct

      (Refer to: Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ").

    3. Battery and battery tray

      (Refer to: Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ").

  2. Disconnect the back up lamp switch connector (A).

  3. Remove the back up lamp switch (A).

  4. Replace a new one and install the back up lamp switch.

    Tightening Torque: 

    39.2 ~ 58.8 N.m (4.0 ~ 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 43.4 lb-ft)
