Repair Procedures: Replacement

NOTE:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.
  1. Remove the following items.
  2. Disconnect the washer nozzle (B) and high mounted stop lamp connector (A).

  3. Loosen the rear spoiler mounting nuts.

    Tightening Torque  :

    5.9 ~ 6.4 N.m (0.6 ~ 0.65 kgf.m, 4.3 ~ 4.7 lb-ft)

  4. Remove the rear spoiler (A).

  5. Spread the WD-40 on the side of tail gate glass.
  6. Cut out the adhesive using the cutter (A).
    NOTE:
    • Please use the cutter with a blade length between 8-12 inches.

  7. Enough on the upper, lower, side of tail gate glass and then cut out the adhesive using the cutter tool (09861-31100).

    Front

    Rear

  8. Remove the tail gate glass (A).
    NOTE:
    • When removing and installing the tail gate glass, an assistant is necessary.
