Repair Procedures: Replacement
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
- Remove the Engine Control Module (ECM).
(Refer to Engine Control System - "ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) ")
- Disconnect the Back-Up Lamp Switch connector (A).
- Remove the Back-Up Lamp Switch (A).
- Replace a new one and install the Back-Up Lamp Switch.
Tightening Torque:
39.2 - 58.8 N.m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb-ft)
