Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal
  2. Disconnect the variable intake solenoid valve connector (A) and vacuum hoses (B)
  3. Remove the variable intake solenoid valve after loosening the mounting bolt from the surge tank.
