Tailgate Lock Module Inspection

Remove the trunk lid trim.
(Refer to "TRUNK LID TRIM ")
Disconnect the connector from the actuator

Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground as displayed in the image below. To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
