Component Inspection
- Turn the ignition switch "OFF" & Disconnect OCV connector.
- Measure resistance between terminal 1 and 2 of OCV connector. (Component Side)
Specification:
Item Specification Heater Resistance (Ω) 5.5 ± 0.35Ω [20°C 68°F] - Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM's connector. Or, ECM memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Replace the OCV with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the OCV and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
