Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the positive (+) battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the purge control solenoid valve.
(Refer to Engine Control System - "PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE (PCSV) ")
- Disconnect the engine wiring connectors and harness clamps around the water temperature control assembly.
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A).
- Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor after removing the fixing pin (B).NOTE:
- Note that engine coolant may flow out from the water temperature control assembly when removing the sensor.
- Fill with engine coolant.
