Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY 12V BATTERY ")
- Disconnect the EEGR control valve connector (A).
- Remove the EGR cooler pipe.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "EGR COOLER ")
EGR Cooler pipe mounting bolt & nut:
18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.3 lb.ft)
