Repair Procedures: Removal
- Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
- Remove the engine cover.
- Remove the ignition coil connector (A).
- Remove the engine foam (A).
- Remove the ignition coil mounting bolt (A).
Tightening Torque:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the ignition coil (A).
- Remove the spark plug (A) using the spark plug wrench.
Tightening torque:
14.7 - 24.5 N.m (1.5 - 2.5 kgf.m, 10.8 - 18.0 lb-ft)
NOTE:
- Be careful that no contaminates enter into spark plug holes.
