Monitor DTC status

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Select 'Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)' button, Press 'DTC Status' to check DTC's information from the DTCs menu.
  3. Confirm that 'DTC Readiness Flag' indicates 'COMPLETED'. If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or Prerequisite Condition.
  4. Read 'DTC Status' parameter.
  5. Record all DTCs, DTC state and freeze frame data before clearing them. Is the DTC State 'Present?'
    NOTE:
    • History (Not Present) state: the DTC set but has been cleared.
    • Present state: the DTC is active at present.

    YES 

    • Go to next step as below.

    NO
