Repair Procedures: Installation
CAUTION:
- Because the accumulator is filled with high pressure nitrogen gas, Be sure to degas the accumulator before discarding it.
- Discarding method: Drill the 3 mm hole in the hexagon nut (10 to 20 mm from center) to eliminate the gas using the fixed drill (hand drill is prohibited to use).
- Wear protective equipment such as safety glasses and earplugs as metal particles may fly when gas is ejected.
- To install, reverse the removal procedures.
- After installing the accumulator, perform the procedure to release the line pressure elimination mode using the diagnostic tool.
