Repair Procedures: Removal
- Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the diagnostic tool when replacing with a new TCM.
- Remove the battery.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
- Disconnect the TCM connector (A).
- Remove the TCM bracket assembly (A) after loosening the mounting bolts and nut.
Tightening torque:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
