Carrier Assembly: Removal
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- When removing using a remover, be careful not to damage the parts.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Disconnect the 12V battery (-) terminal.
(Refer to Vehicle Control System - " AUXILIARY BATTERY (12V) ")
- Drain the motor coolant.
(Refer to Motor Cooling System - " MOTOR COOLANT ")
- Drain the high voltage battery coolant.
(Refer to High Voltage Battery Cooling System - " HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY COOLANT ")
- Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/recycling/charging station.
(Refer to Heating, Ventilation And Air Conditioning - " REFRIGERANT RECOVERY/RECYCLING/CHARGING/VACUUM ")
- Remove the front bumper beam assembly.
(Refer to Front End Module - "FRONT BUMPER BEAM ASSEMBLY ")
- Disconnect the suction & liquid line (A), after removing the nuts.
Tightening torque:
8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)
- Disconnect the EWP hose (A) and reservoir tank hose (B).
- Disconnect the hood latch cable (A).
- Disconnect the water condenser hose (A).
- Disconnect the FIS connector (A).

- Disconnect the front end module main connector (A).
- Remove the front end module lower bolts.
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the carrier assembly (A) from the body.
- Remove the stiffener assembly.

- Remove the horn.
(Refer to Front End Module - "HORN ")
- Remove the smart key buzzer.

- Remove the condenser.
(Refer to Heating, Ventilation And Air Conditioning - " CONDENSER ")
- Remove the radiator.
(Refer to Cooling System - " RADIATOR ")
- Remove the hood latch.
(Refer to Hood - " HOOD LATCH ")
