Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "REPAIR PROCEDURES - Battery Tray")
- Disconnect the EEGR valve connector (A).
- Remove the EGR cooler pipe (A).
Tightening Torque:
18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb-ft)
- Remove the mounting bolt (A), and then remove the EEGR valve (B).
Tightening Torque:
18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb-ft)
