Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Install the power tailgate latch & PCU assembly.

    Tightening torque 

    Latch: 7.6 - 11.4 N.m (0.7 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.6 - 8.4 lb-It)

    PCU: 2.7 - 4.0 N.m (0.3 - 0.4 kgf.m, 3.0 - 5.8 lb-ft)

  2. Install the tailgate trim.
  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
