Chassis Domain Control Unit (CDCU): Removal

  1. Perform the "VARIANT CODING (BACKUP & INPUT) " using a diagnostic tool.

    (Refer to Chassis Domain Control (CDC) System - "ADJUSTMENT ")

  2. Disconnect the 12V battery (-) terminal.
  3. Remove the crash pad tray.

    (Refer to Body (Interior/Exterior/Electrical) - "CRASH PAD TRAY ")

  4. Chassis domain control unit nuts (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the chassis domain control unit (A) after disconnecting the connector.
