Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Check that the shaft (A) is in the "N" position.
  2. Install the position sensor (B).

  3. Install the position sensor "N" fixing SST (No.:09459 - 4G100) (D) in the sensor (A), case pin (B) and anti-rotation guide (C).

  4. Install the bolts (A) in the position sensor.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 28.9 - 33.9 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the position sensor "N" fixing SST (No.:09459 - 4G100) (B).

  6. Install the electric shift actuator (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    20.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.1 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.2 - 19.5 lb-ft)

  7. Connect the electric shift actuator connector (A) and position sensor (B).

  8. Install the wiring (A) after tightening the bolt.

  9. Install the Hybrid Power Control Unit (HPCU) assembly.

    (Refer to Hybrid control system - "HPCU ")

  10. Install the TCM.
    1. Install the TCM (A) after tightening the bolts and nut.

    2. Connect the TCM connector (A).

  11. Drain the coolant of hybrid motor cooling system.

    (Hybrid Motor System - "Coolant")

  12. Drain the engine coolant.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "COOLANT ")

  13. Connect the high voltage cable.

    (Refer to Automatic Transaxle System - "REPAIR PROCEDURE ")

  14. Check that operating surely at each range of the position sensor corresponding to each position of SBW lever.
