Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS): Inspection
- Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS).
(Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS) - "REMOVAL ")
- After immersing the thermistor of the sensor into engine coolant, measure resistance between the ECTS signal terminals and ground terminals.
- Check that the resistance is within the specification.
