Data Connectivity Unit (DCU) Variant Coding

Information
- Data connectivity unit (DCU) variant coding makes it possible to operate functions for each vehicle type.
- If the variant coding differs from the vehicle specification, a DTC is displayed.
- If the data connectivity unit (DCU) is replaced with a new one, perform the "Variant Coding" procedure using diagnostic tool.
- Connect the diagnostic device to the data link connector, turn on the ignition (IGN ON), and then activate the diagnostic tool.
- Select the 'Car model' and "Data Connectivity Unit (DCU)".
- Select the 'Variant Coding' and follow the instructions on the screen.
