Front Suspension: Description

The M30 uses a MacPherson strut front suspension system. Some models use Electronic Sonar Suspension. See SONAR SUSPENSION article in SUSPENSION. Transverse links are connected to bottom of steering knuckle. Strut assemblies are connected to top of steering knuckle. See Fig 1 .

The Q45 uses a 4-wheel independent multi-link suspension system. This is similar to the M30 with the addition of an upper and third link. Bottom of strut assembly is attached to third link and third link is attached to steering knuckle. See Fig 2 . Upper link is attached to top of third link. The Q45 does not use the electronically controlled sonar system.
